my leggy sedum macdougallii

Any tips for making my sedum macdougallii look better?
I want it to be bushy and compact eventually.

It was doing better outside in part shade last year, then I moved it inside for the winter and it became leggy in my apartment. I just got a new desk at work with a south-facing window that gets direct sunlight, so I moved it there last week.

I also removed the smallest 3-4 leaf buds on each tip (hoping that will make it branch more). But I'm not sure if pinching the tips would make it branch all along the stem or just at the end.
