Hi everyone! I've been on this site for a while now and have only managed to post one thing, ever! So I'm hoping I won't be so shy after posting on this very friendly forum :)

As a poor college student with no free time, wintersowing appeals to me greatly (who does it not?). This will be my first time though, and I am so nervous!

I have a big list of seeds that I purchased from Seedman's wonderful thanksgiving 50% off sale as well as some left over from last year. I tried to pick seeds that needed stratification or were somewhat local to my area (south jersey) but I'm not sure if these will do well with WSing.

Here's my list, could someone tell me if any of these are doomed to fail?? :)

Amaranthus 'Autumn"

Yarrow Summer Berries

Dwarf Crepe Myrtle

Coral Bells

Astilbe 'Finest mix'

Large Flowered Rockcress

Snapdragon

Marshmallow

Valerian

Lavender 'Lady'

Lady's Mantle

Solomon's Plume

Climbing Sweet Pea

I also was wondering about two tree seeds I bought, and if anyone has had any experience with them. Paw Paw and Strawberry Tree. I'd never heard of a strawberry tree, but found that they actually grow in my climate. And Paw Paws are a childhood favourite of mine :) Has anyone had any luck growing these from seed?? Or better yet, would they do well if wintersown?

Thanks everyone!
