pre freeze shots of outdoor plants

Big freeze a-comin' this weekend... thought I'd share a few plants that may not look the same next week post freeze...

Agave attenuata 'blue' is a pretty cold sensitive Agave... might be melted in a few days.

{{gwi:490914}}

These Aloe barberae hybirds (Hercules and Goliath) are also pretty wimpy when it comes to cold, at least relative to most other aloes.

{{gwi:490915}}

Aloe decruva is a relatively new species for me and I didn't have it last freeze... so who knows if I will have it after this one (I guess I could move this one indoors... but then I would never know how cold hardy it was...)

{{gwi:490916}}

not worried about losing this one, but I might lose its flowers, and it's just getting going this week...

{{gwi:490917}}

Aloe lineata got burned last freeze and it's finally flowering (first time for me)... will I lose the flower prematurely?

{{gwi:490918}}

Aloe globulogemma got pretty fried last freeze also..

{{gwi:490919}}

as did Aloe secundiflora, also in mid flower now

{{gwi:490920}}

Aloe peglarae will probably be fine, though

{{gwi:490921}}

these aloes (rubroviolacea and vryheidensis) are also mid flower, and the Agave gypsophila in front of them is a super wimp when it comes to cold

{{gwi:490922}}

Ananas bracteata is a new bromeliad for me and no clue how cold hardy it is..

{{gwi:490923}}

Crassula congesta is in an exposed location... looking nice now... but after this weekend?

{{gwi:490925}}

Euphorbia William Denton is in mid flower (oh sorry 'R'.. mid cyathia) and wondering what will happen to it..

{{gwi:490927}}

Euphorbia stellata is just starting to flower (er 'cyathia') now too

{{gwi:490929}}

Monodenium (now a Euphoribia as well I guess)... is looking good, too and has survived 6 years outdoors so far... will this be the last week?
