All of my Ludgers are green.. I do have one X Jewel X Unknown that is albino.. It didn't have true leaves and I expect it to die but it looked good last time I saw it..I just hope any of the seedlings are still alive when I get back.. I haven't started all of the seed I have ..sooo if not I'll just start some more...LOL Not that big of a deal...

Ludger's windsong is prob. the culprit of the albino babies. the parentage is unknown on that one, Klein Aap x ? (I think) but many of the babies with that LWS in the cross have come out albino and a few have been variegated seedlings. The albino unfortunately die after a week or so. At BGI I was participating in the grafting experiment with some of the LWS crosses, we were trying to graft the albino seedlings onto green rootstock but everyone's failed so far. Someone is doing an embroy graft with a little more success so far.

Here are a couple of my graft trials with albinos. One is a side graft and one is a tongue graft. The tongue graft lasted a few weeks longer than the other.

Thanks SJN. The pics of the graft experiments look interesting. I just thought it was odd that all of the seedlings appear to be albino but now I know the reason. I wonder what in the LWS breeding has caused it? I still can't tell for sure if any will develop some chlorophyll. I think I'll know one way or another within a week.

I've got some green!!!! One of the seedlings has definitely taken on a green hue so I'm hopeful for that one. The others are still white.
