Violets and Clover?

Because of how much these two plants wantonly spread, I normally dig them out of the beds. Knowing that they are host plants, I have guilt about doing it. I also remove them from the pathway because I don't want to step on the cats.

My yard isn't huge, so I can't devote a special area for them. Not like they'd stay there anyway.

If I let them grow, do they interfere with the growth of other plants? Will the other plants just grow through them? Can they all live harmoniously?

Thanks.
