I just found out that A. asperula = Antelopehorn Milkweed is the same type flower. I would love to get seeds of either A. asperula = Antelopehorn Milkweed or Antelope-Horn Milkweed (Asclepias viridis).

I have A asperula growing on my land.I find that one can dig them up and move them. I have mailed them out to people. It is all about timing. The small one year plants have roots to china because of the droughts that we have been having. digging up is difficult but possible. One has to wait for a time when one has wet soil and the plants are just out of the ground. It is too late now. We are too hot and they are well into the summer growth. I dug 6 up earlier this spring and I have a 100% survival rate. I potted them up and they have gone through their transplant shock. I find that one does not need the whole tap root for them to survive. The segment left in the ground will send up a plant also.The little plants are all ready to be mailed out and they are all spoken for. Sorry. I will have fresh seed in a couple of weeks to one month. The pods have formed.
