The only type of honeyvine I'm familiar with, Angie, is Cynanchum laeve - it doesn't have any fuzz, the leaves are quite smooth. There are several other kinds of vines in the milkweed family, like Matela and Sarcostemma - maybe some of them have fuzzy leaves. Sherry
I'm a huge milkweed fan, and would like to get a better description of the vine you mentioned "Morrenia odorata". Even better would be a photo. There are other Cynanchum vines than the Laeve species. I'm only familiar with the Cynanchum Laeve and don't know if any of the other species in the genus has fuzz. It would not surprise me, since the species in the genus Asclepias that I'm collecting vary greatly in the amount of fuzziness their leaves have, some none at all, one completely covered.
