real christmas cactus

If anyone is looking for a real christmas cactus and lives in the north boulder colorado area, there is a very large one for sale on craigslist for only $20! If I lived near there, I would grab it in a hurry. Hope I didn't break any rules posting this.

I've been looking on Craigslist here in Michigan with no luck. Good on you for sharing your search with others! (Maybe we should start a thread of regional super finds!)

If anyone gets this one, please share your experience (and photos).

I will keep looking and post what I find for anyone that would love to have a real Christmas Cactus. There is one in the Seattle area also on craigslist for $20. Also a nice big one.
I found one not far from me last year for $40. The girl said that it was 65 yrs.old and that it was given to her by a friend of hers that couldn't keep it. I couldn't believe how big it was when I went to buy it! Here's a picture of it last Christmas. This Christmas it didn't give me the blooms that I had hoped for. I'm sure the difference in lighting etc. effected that.

I know I'm a little late to the party but I have rhipsalis salicornioides, and 'firesticks' succulents and mother of thousand babies. I also have a pink Christmas catcus willing to trade for cereus.

If anyone lives in the Portland area, there is a nice size real christmas cactus for $13! on craigslist.
