A nice xeric collection from a Brazilian friend

Hi all, I met a friend, Mr. Constantino, from south Brazil in German Bromeliad Forum.

He sent me pics of his collection that I think they would be shared

to bromeliad lovers, especially xeric here.

BTW, he has not been able to manage his pics to Photobucket and post,

so I've helped him to post via my account.

His cactus & succulents collection at patios.

{{gwi:455110}}

Nice specimens of Tillandsia ehlersiana.

{{gwi:455111}}

{{gwi:455112}}

Xerophytic bromeliads in his collection.

Dyckia encholirioides, that came from a beach forest near Atlantic Ocean, at the back,

and another more compact Dyckia, which Constantino said it might be a new variety.

{{gwi:455113}}

Dyckia encholirioides

{{gwi:455114}}

Young plants of Dyckia ibiramensis, a rare species native near his place.

{{gwi:455115}}

A nice Dyckia which he mentioned as Dyckia beateae, but this look different from

Tropiflora's or Michael's plant.

{{gwi:455116}}

{{gwi:455117}}

Dyckia fosteriana

{{gwi:455118}}

Variation of his Dyckia marnier-lapostollei, collected from different localities.

{{gwi:455119}}

{{gwi:455120}}

{{gwi:455121}}

Dyckia marnier-lapostollei var. estevesii

{{gwi:455122}}

A rare Dyckia lindevaldae

{{gwi:455123}}

Two unknown Dyckia which he mentioned possibly a new species.

{{gwi:455124}}

{{gwi:455125}}

A beautiful plant of Dyckia platyphylla.

{{gwi:455126}}

Nice clumps of Dyckia brevifolia in his garden, that he said this species is native

near his place as lithophyte in a river that submerged in rainy season!

{{gwi:455127}}

{{gwi:455128}}

A different form that he call 'Izabeli' (his morther's name) endemic to his place,

with wider, shorter and more compact rosette leaves.

{{gwi:455129}}

Constantino is an interesting person that I will introduce him to our forum soon.
