Best way to plant speciosa (showy milkweed) seeds?

Hey everyone!

I just got some speciosa seeds in the mail and I'm wondering what's best to do with them. I live near DC in Zone 7.

Should I:

-Stick 'em in the fridge for a few days? A week? then start them in containers indoors? (I've read a lot of specifications to doing this, I don't remember the specifics, so any tips are appreciated)

or

-Just start them in pots indoors, no refridgeration necessary?

or

-Try winter-sowing them? I'd get one of those little flats with the individual holes for each seed, they hold 100 or more, and put them in there for winter-sowing. Then stick it outside, with drainage and ventilation holes in it of course.

Many thanks for any suggestions!

The company I ordered the seeds from isn't open today, I already tried calling them to ask :)
