can you help id these two var. brugs?

I purchased one at a garden fair spring '06, it was never labeled. It was such a small rooted cutting it's taken all year to grow out. Now it's blooming.The bloom color is very pale ivory with a very very slight blush of pink on the inside of the trumpet. Could it be a sunset? It has a good strong scent even during the daytime.

Here's the other one, I purchased a huge plant of it.This plant is two years old according to the man who sold it to me. It was identified to me as "versicolor peach". But all the pictures I've seen of versicolor peach are not variegated leaf. It does have a yellow-changing to peach, to almost orange by the time the bloom is finished. It has a very strong scent in the evening. The picture of the bloom shows it just starting to open, it didn't have a wide open one at the time. So it is very yellow.

Please sandy0225, if you don't know the name just call them unknown variegated. The only true way to ID is to DNA one and the cost isn't what some folks can take. You don't want to ID from a photo and make a mistake that may come back and bite you later!

I just asked because sometimes when I have a plant and I don't know what it is, someone else looks at it and knows right away what it is.
I'm not going to tag them as anything but variegated peach, and variegated cream brug.
I was just wondering if anyone knows anything about these variegated brugs could give me some idea as to their heritage so that I'd have some idea what to expect in terms of growth habit, flowering, and cold tolerance.

Lucy, a screen house is like a screened in room. It's a free standing structure with a tent like covering and zippered screen sides. We have a horrible mosquito problem up here in New England and you can't sit outdoors during the evening or early morning with out protection. I have a small pond and don't spray the garden with insecticides in order to not harm bees, wasps, butterflys, or other beneficial insects. So with out the screen house we couldn't enjoy the garden or outdoors during peak mosquito hours. It also provides some shade protection for some of my house plants that summer outdoors. I'm seriously thinking of converting to natural gas for heating but it's a huge investment. I don't have the room for a wood or pellet stove but our neighbors saves over $1,000. last winter using one. I've cut back on the AC this summer in anticipation of winter heat bills.

Now that I see the close-up I am tempted not to post any guesses. But it will at least let you rule out some (and maybe tempt somebody) so here goes: The biggest problem with this color is cameras. Hopeless inaccuracy with some. So take these names with a big grain of salt as I've never grown any in this color range. And there are probably many more. Rims (to me) means a consistant width of a contrasting color. Might be same as standards. Picotee can be uneven and thinner than rims. Wire the thinnest of all. Hey!!!
Brugs are different than alot of plants.. You have lots of Hybrids and true Species that are so simular that it is really hard to tell.. If you buy or trade for a named Brug you are at their mercy ..As far as honesty goes.. If you have one you don't know the name of.. Unknown is the best way to go.. Somewhere down the road you may find charactiristics that could help you identity it otherwise just enjoy what a beautiful plant that Brugs are..

I don't have a clue what they are but very pretty! As far as growth habits, I have Peaches & Cream and Maya and both are slow growers for me...They are hardy outside here but never seem to get near the size of, or bloom as much as the non-variegateds. The one's I have in the ground are twards the front of the border since they seem to stay much shorter. I dug up a P&C last fall that'd been in the ground for 2 years and was amazed at how small the root system was on it...It could just be me or my zone or something, but from reading previous posts here and my experience, I'd think the variegateds are probably in the "least-vigorous brug" category.
