OT : POTD: Howdy folks

Are you ready to tackle this day?

I am...armed with my hoe...off to other peoples farms on Farm Town over at Facebook. Off to earn money so I can buy a good house. Better isolated then mine. You know..the one I am sitting in and feeling the freezing cold wind blow through lol.

Good morning all. Lucy, I love Gerber daisies and that is a pretty dusty pink one! I still haven't gotten to go farming, but will one day when I have time to figure what it is, LOL!

I love Gerberas. Still haven't logged onto Facebook and have about 200 invites awaiting my approval. lol

That is a pretty plant! The color is beautiful and the leaves are a good color too. Do the hummingbirds like it since they are long and tuberous blooms? When you use the epsom salt how do you mix it for the brugs? In general I think it is 1T per gallon of water or 1T placed in soil when planting. Do you water with it or foliar spray? I think it helps with magnesium deficiency if memory serves me correctly, especially in the tomato family and roses. I have not used it on the brugs yet however, they are all pretty green right now. You know Barb, you sure know how to put a damper on my feeling so great about knowing the NAME! Now you are throwing me off by asking WHAT species it is! I can only handle so much to store in my memory roflmao Hopefully someone can answer the question and that helps me to learn another thing about this one. hmmm I wonder if daylilies take years to bloom? I did buy a few named ones. Since they multiply so fast...by next season there should be enough to share a lot of folk's addiction lol Kristy's Dogs were real happy to see me at 6 am :-) We had a great time walking the yard and playing a bit. Thats good to know Patsy, thanks. Well John adopted it and takes it in at the shop every night so the deer don't eat it, lol. I guess I'll get to bring it home this winter. He got so many compliments on it and the orchid he won't let me have take them home, lol. Do I remember the yellow one at the zoo? No, lol. It was more than last week but I bet we can get Kylie to fight off the wild animals so we can collect seeds next time. Lol.

Morning Lucy Hope you have a safe and fun trip! Enjoy those Grands. Bring me back a rock! LOL (That's what I tell everyone going on a Vacation) You'd be surprised how many rocks I get doing that. Howdy Lucy! Brrr, it's cold outside. I just love central heating and my internet connection.

That is a beautiful Gerbera Daisy. It reminds me of the hundreds just like it that I worked for my son and daughter in law's wedding.

Has anyone tried wintering gerberas over? I just use them as annuals here.

They were all hot pink Lucy!

Karyn, they usually overwinter in my garden with mulch. Not sure about this year, it is exceptionally cold.

Good morning, all. Cheery photo for such a cold day.

It is exceptionally cold here. Poor DH is out in the cold wind wrapping pipes and putting the Christmas lights back out to warm the plants.

The large yellow noid is about to bloom inside, I will definitely show that when (if) it happens.

Sorry Karyn I had tomatoes on my eyes from harvesting roflmao.

I am with Pam. Mine were from last year. But with THIS cold...I am not sure...and not sure how many years they DO come back?

Pam I bet the Wedding was just georgous!! Freezing my ars off here we have finally made it to 30*..Dang wind is 30mph.. and the temps are starting to dip!! Come on Spring!!LOL
