I love Dr. Suess; it was one of my first brugs way back in 1993.

But for someone who didn't know it, all the different looks of the blossoms that you've captured would give the impression of several different varieties, not just the one! Amazing! And possibly confusing!

Brenda: Camera angles and flash or not, they bloom pretty much the same all year long. Different stages of flowering. The star shaped Seuss will straighten out today. The only thing was the colors of the orange how deep they are this time of the year and the size of the flowers. They have been holding these buds since thanksgiving. There are 6 blooming the darkest are sheltered from the north wind and had flash.

Good way to filter out the Texas background. Just playing with my new camera. I did not know I could make it flash in Macro.

Those are really pretty Jim. My noid pink does the same thing with the star shape at first then opens all the way back. Its cool looking.

Very nice.. I relly enjoyed looking at them all.. It is cold and the wind is blowing about 30mph.. Edna sent my some Suess I am very excited about them I have not grown one..

Thanks for looking at my flowers they enjoy being shown. Most of mine are 4 X 4 brugs. This is 4 wheel drive area for plants. Quite a few tried to parish in the summer. Only a few thrived. Only the best will be used for cuttings. This should be a better plant year.
