Black, Dark-Red Amaryllis

I plan on purchasing A very dark reddish-black Hippeastrum in the coming weeks, and I'd like to know which variety has the most desirable characteristics. Before you answer please consider the following:

1. Stems must support the mass of flowers without the

tendency to buckle and/or bend from weight. In other

words, I need a stem that will support the flower mass

without breaking.

2. Flower color should be stable, and not, blotchy, or

uneven. Color should be deep, dark, and saturated.

3. Flowers should have good substance, and heavy texture...

and not be as thin as tissue paper.

4. Disease resistant.

The choices of plants with this color flower, and that are commercially available are the following:

Black Pearl

Red Pearl

Carmen

Royal Velvet

Benfica

Loyalty....but I cannot find a source for this bulb.

Please give me some opinions as to which of these varieties performs well under common growing conditions. I would love to find "Loyalty" but can't locate a source.

Thanks for the input.
