What will bees do this strange bloom season?

Here in the northeast most plants are blooming 3-4 weeks ahead of their usual schedule. I see general agreement on that in the New England Gardening Forum and see it in my own garden

I am wondering about what the bees will find later during that last nectar flow. If the usual fall bloomers are spent by the first week in September will beekeepers have to take unusual steps to make sure the hives have adequate food heading into winter? Harvest less honey so the bees have more for what might be an usually long nectar-less fall?

If all the natural sources are finished early, would we feed them? That late in the season, They wouldn't be making foundation for brood, would they, so what would feeding that late in the season accomplish?

Lots of wondering;I'm sure you all have some good ideas and information.

Thanks,

Marie
