Anybody grow proboscidea louisianica (aka Devil's Claw)? I have a rectangular planter that my garden journal says I planted dahlia in - sure as heck ain't dahlia! The look of the flowers said devil's claw to me, and looking them up on the 'net, they look right - however, the leaves are fuzzy, and the pix I see don't appear to have fuzzy leaves. Sorry I don't have a picture at this point; I'm still sorting through UK stuff - has anyone any experience with this? Does p. l. have fuzzy leaves? Another thought I had was that it might be S. African foxglove. I didn't sow either of those this year, but I have in the past, and they could be reseeders.
