Jodi's Tour Continues...

16 years ago

I hope you'll forgive me for the photographic tours that don't include hippeastrum blooms... I have none to share at the moment. The time will come soon enough, though, when my pictures will be of newly purchased bulbs... and the excitement of autumn's first large hybrid flower will burst forth!

Until then... here is the next progression of photos fresh from the gardens! I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

Something we should all do more of...

{{gwi:416217}}

The pride and joy of the Rose Garden... a red climber...

{{gwi:416218}}

Another beauty... this one in coral...

{{gwi:416219}}

My favorite red mini... growing like a weed!

{{gwi:416220}}

More minis...

{{gwi:416221}}

This one will open a cocoa red...

{{gwi:416222}}

And a shot of the corner Rose Garden...

{{gwi:416223}}

This red double is a ground cover type rose...

{{gwi:416224}}

Butter Yellow Iris...

{{gwi:416225}}

A beautiful blue... a Balloonflower, I think... or perhaps it's Campanula...

{{gwi:416226}}

Hairy Alliums are in bloom... weird!

{{gwi:416227}}

Delphiniums and Digitalis... a winning combination!

{{gwi:416228}}

Gaillardia finally opens...

{{gwi:416229}}

A two tone Daylily...

{{gwi:416230}}

Orange Lilies are blooming everywhere!

{{gwi:416231}}

Bright red Sweet William...

{{gwi:416232}}

Siberian Iris...

{{gwi:416233}}

A Clematis in pink-lavender shades...

{{gwi:416234}}

Common, but beautiful... Jackmanii...

{{gwi:416235}}

Look! Strawberries!

{{gwi:416236}}

Another Gaillardia...

{{gwi:416237}}

Honeysuckle in bloom... this should bring in the hummingbirds!

{{gwi:416238}}

More orange Lilies...

{{gwi:416239}}

And more!

{{gwi:416240}}

Even the seedheads are lovely on this Allium...

{{gwi:416241}}

Yellow Allium peeking out from live willow stumps that began as stakes for pea pod plants!

{{gwi:416242}}

Look at this monster! What height! Can't wait to see it open!

{{gwi:416243}}

Some new perennials we just purchased...

{{gwi:416244}}

Two new Clematis vines waiting to be planted...

{{gwi:416245}}

The funky Garlic bulbs are beginning to bloom!

{{gwi:416246}}

A lone Coreopsis flower makes an appearance...

{{gwi:416247}}

Patio Pots...

{{gwi:38625}}

{{gwi:38626}}

A Mock Orange? It doesn't have that scent it's suppose to have...

{{gwi:416250}}

And last... pretty pink Coral Bells...

{{gwi:416251}}

I hope you enjoyed the latest garden tour! Things are growing and changing so rapidly, I can hardly keep up! I'm starting to have a hard time keeping up with the weeding, too! Weeds aside, the gardens are glorious! The faint scent of roses wafts across the yard... birds sing... butterflies are beginning to appear, helping with pollination! This is the most exciting time for the gardens, and for me! I just love it all so much... even the work involved!

Stay tuned for more! Mother Nature never shows the same scene twice!

Happy Gardening, and thank you for indulging my love of perennial gardening! I'm so happy to be able to share it with all of you!
