Clueless about Bamboo in Tampa Bay

Need some advice from the experts here! :)

I am in St. Pete FLA and would like a natural wall for privacy. I am in a city area where homes with garage apartments are very common. My neighbor has one which overlooks directly into my backyard.

I have a 6ft privacy fence alredy, but obviously it offers zero privacy from a neighbor's upstairs view. This area is a space along my fence which is also bordered by two citrus trees on either side and also a very large old Florida oak, thus creating some shade and a dappled sunlight area.

I'm nervous about bamboo because I've heard (perhaps incorrectly?) that even the clumping can be impossible to remove and can be invasive == but not as bad as the actual invasive type. I don't want it to damage/uproot my fence.

Also, can bamboo thrive in partial shade? Are there any competing growth issues being between two citrus trees?

Any advice would be welcome! Thanks!
