Lots of questions..

Are these seed packets that can be made on the computer? Containing information on the plant, not just a picture? I have been on a campaign to help people print labels for seeds since last year, because I find that handwritten labels are hard to read and also usually leave little room for the person to include important info like height, color, and if perennial, what zone? I have offered my label set (almost 100 seeds) to anyone who emails - that offer is still open - and then folks can just change the GW name to theirs and use them if they have those seeds (or change them slightly if they have a different named variety of the same plant)

I will send you a set Karen; maybe they will be of some use in this project. They are simple "Word" produced sheets of labels.

Nancy your labels are great!! Anyone that wants to could copy and paste your info into the text box on my envelopes. Or they can type their name and the plant info. That is one reason I wanted to do this for myself. I can print out envies with the plant info right there on the packet almost like a commercial packet. That way when I go to WS several months later I have all the info I need.

I sent you a copy of my files. you can see what you think. I can make some of them with plant names etc.. I will see what I can do today

Are you passing along the labels with the template or should I do that seperately? Seems more efficent to do it together from you (smile) but I'd be happy to help!

I liked the seed pack template, and if you add flower pictures it is going to be really pretty. But I am too swamped for "construction" of envelopes and invested in a bzillion tiny zip lock seed bags a few years ago that fit the labels. But you will have much more room on a packet to put pics and info. Nice!

I am working on a collection of seed packets with the flower name and some details about the flower with a pic of the flower on the other side.

So far I have completed Cleome and Coneflower...

I will do more this week. if you want those send me a message

Oh I would love a copy. I would like to put our garden club name on the packets too. We are going to have a free give away of seeds this Fall and it would be so nice to have packets for the seeds other than the plain old plastic bags.

OMG! These are awesome! So easy to use and I consider myself technically computer challenged. I already put aside some seeds to trade this fall in little plastic bags but now I'm putting the bags in these envelopes. These are great - Thank you.
