Heat tolerance of Yushania Anceps compared to that of Y. Maling.

Can anyone supply information on whether Yushania Maling is more tolerant of relatively high temperatures (for these purposes they could be defined as about 90-100F than Yushania Anceps? The Y. Anceps I have has survived through upper 90s and even a few days around 100F however the culms have changed color to a more tanned green color (originally they were dark green). Although most of the foliage is still there one of the culms and its branches and leaves seems to be heading towards its end. I was thinking about trading this Y. Anceps for a different bamboo (I would trade the Anceps to someone who lives in a more suitable climate for it). Although it is unlikely I will try any more of the Yushania genus in this climate, if Maling was substantially more heat tolerant I would change that view and consider it an option. Also, many sources list Maling as having more tolerance of direct light does anyone have any experience as to have large a difference there is in this regard?
