I lost both of my hives to Colony Collapse last. Both just disappeared. I am going to start over this spring with two new packages of bees and queens. My question is how much of my original equipment should I reuse? My hives (two hive bodies each) have been left outside with the covers on. There is some mice and wax moth infestation. Can I clean out the boxes and frames and just replace the foundations? Should I replace the frames as well? How can I best clean out the hive bodies? I have about a month to get ready. Thanks.
