Siam ruby/margarita is very picky about winter temps and winter watering. If It's not 70 degrees where it is, water it very sparingly. I wouldn't mess with the pups this time of the year, it stresses them to separate them and they sound like they're already stressed. So it's not a good time to separate them now at all. The best thing you can do is set the pot on a heat mat so that the roots stay warm. Maybe then you'll even see some growth on it before spring if you have it in a bright environment. Keep it light and warm and you'll have no problems. Short of that and you might lose it before spring.

I have three of these (all young) and I believe mine to be more fragile than most of my others. They are growing well, but I have them in partial shade and somewhat wind protected. My first one taught me that the wind really breaks the leaves very easily. They have coffee grounds in their soil and once a week get manure "tea". All three are red, with the biggest one having one or two freckles of neon green. I thought that was probably from being in mostly shade so that may not be the case if yours are in full sun. Full sun never means full "Texas" sun anyway. How about some pictures? We always love seeing pictures of your stuff. Thanks for the reply. They have been inside and haven't been out at all yet. The temp in the room has always been between 65 and 70. The light I'm using is a t5 and it is 6 inches or so above the basil because the tomatoes are a few inches taller. Haven't given them anything but water. I'm really worried they aren't going to make it. Any ideas what I should change or do?
