Hi,

Just wanted to alert the forum that the Thompson & Morgan 50% off their seeds sale has been extended until July 1st. In case anyone thought they missed it there is still time.

Well, I had avoided it earlier, but today I went to T&M and started filling up the cart.

Some time between now and July 1, I'll decide whether to press "Submit" ......

thanks prairiemoon. I love when people alert everyone to seed/plant sales on the internet. I only visit GW and a few other sites so I seldom learn of sales through my exploring. I find them through people like you who put the word out!

I placed an order with them on Dec. 31st and contacted them this weekend to see if they were still going to fill those orders that made it in before the site shut down. Just heard back this morning that they were going to fill my order. Let's see if the seeds actually arrive!

Summer savory, I make my own poultry seasoning now instead of the pre-mixed. I season to taste, know I use that and sage (quite a lot of that), can't remember what else, parsley, a little thyme, a little majoram if I have it, onion, celery (including leaves), bread cubes, chicken broth w/melted real butter, water to get it the right dampness, salt, pepper, no rosemary, no garlic, sometimes a little Lawry's seasoned salt. I don't use recipes for a lot of things any more, just dump. Here are lots of ideas for it, hope the link works. If it doesn't go to groups.google.com, click on advanced search, put rec.food.recipes in the "group at this location" put summer savory in the exact phrase box, hit the google search button. The regular google search engine might come up with some more if you put "summer savory" in quotes and search (or just savory). Here is a link that might be useful: recipes using summer savory

Don't they also change the offer according to how much you order from them? It seems a lot of times that the first offer I get from any of the catalogs is always the best, then they decrease the "value" of the offer if I have previously ordered from them. (Those buggers know I'm going to buy more seeds from them anyway...they aren't stupid! lol) Linda

This is NOT funny girls. (Tee hee) I went throught the entire sight and limited myself to 40 selections. Thankfully I missed the cut off. But now they send the email saying continued, and you point out a seed I missed but now must have. 41. Stop it! Tee hee heee! And don't forget the Park Seed sale coming in November. I have my list ready!

I made an order in the beginning of the sale and already received my order, thanks to someone else on the WS forum who alerted me to the original sale. LOVE those 50% off sales. I see I am not the only one. I did sign up for email notification and that has worked out well. Glad you all can take advantage of it...now I just have to resist the urge to go back and look over their site again. [g]
