2 Plant IDs Please & Thanks :)

Still more plants popping up that I have absolutely no idea what they are. I had quite a few 'failed' wintersown containers last spring, and just flung my dirt into the garden. I should've kept better track of those instead of thinking they were a done deal! Here are the 2 plants I could use some help IDing :) Thanks in advance everyone ;)

Could the top one be a penstemon?

The bottom one could be an agastache. Does the leaf smell good when rubbed between fingers?

I like it too, searched, several sources say it's drought tolerant, native to southeastern US but hardy to Z4, evergreen, mostly shade. Wiki: Mountain-laurel is the state flower of Connecticut and Pennsylvania, blooms May / June. Numerous cultivars have been selected with varying flower color. Kalmia, where have you been all of my life? I'd love to have some of these with the Hydrangeas. Assuming since it says you're in NYC you have these in pots?

First one is columbine, Aquilegia canadensis. Second is mountain laurel, Kalmia latifolia, likely a cultivar.

I adore the flowers on the first one and the leaves do look like penstemon. I'd love to get seeds of that one! (Hint...)

The second one, well, I thought of Hydrangea right off the bat. But when I saw Piti's answer, it made more sense.

Top one reminds me of a snap dragon, maybe linaria, toad flax?? Not sure about the bottom one. Almost looks like a hydrangea.

My vote is for #1 penstemon, and #2 agastache.

Could the top one also be a dragon's head(dracocephalum)?

Thank you so much everyone, I did sow penstemon and agastache, so I think those are the winners! Thanks everyone. :) I'll try to get the seeds off the penstemon Tiff ;)

The first definatley belongs in the Scrophulariaceae (Snapdragon) family, but species I don't know and the 2nd looks like Lemon Balm to me.
