WANTED: Cold Hardy Clumping Bamboo
Comments (0)Hello everyone, I am in search of cold hardy clumping bamboo for zone 7. I am willing to pay reasonable shipping or trade. I have seeds and a few types of plants for unrooted cutting. Comments (5)I can't really tell from any photos I've found, I took a few pics and have uploaded them. I don't think it gets as bushy as the Japanese Knotweed, the Knotweed seems a much more delicate plant. Comments (4)lowes sometimes carries rufa "green panda" which is a fargesia and does quite well here in central to northern utah. if you find a fargesia, plant it where it won't get too much of the hot afternoon sun. aside from that, there are a lot of online growers to order from. some are better than others so ask around before you order. good luck....See Morehave: cold hardy moso bamboo seeds
