Lupines with 30+ blooms + a couple of other photos.

I have some wild Lupines in the gardens. In 2002 one showed up blooming pink and I've kept it even though the wind tries to destroy it every now and then. This year, after being hit with a nor'east wind on Friday, it's still standing and after cleaning it yesterday (photo was taken prior to cleaning), I counted over 30 blooms.

The following is a picture of another wild one next to a Euphorbia and an Iberis.

These are pictures of some more winter sowings by Mama Nature. They are called Star of Bethleem. Not sure how the birds could have managed to plant them since they are highly poisonous. They also close when the sun isn't out and I just caught this photo as a cloud was going over.

And yes, for those of you who remember me trying to ID a plant a while back, it is a Dame's Rocket. It is hiding my Rose of Sharon which is five feet. Nice plant!! I'll have to get seeds. The scent is gorgeous!
