My first ever seedling blooms!

I don't know if anyone remembers me, but I'm the one with all the Appleblossom seedlings. I started the seeds in March of 2007 and am finally getting scapes!

Well the first ever one started opening yesterday. When I saw it, I knew it couldn't have been one of the Appleblossoms and must have been mixed up with the next batch of seeds which were from Minerva. I had put Dancing Queen pollen on Minerva and this is what I got!

Here's Minerva:

And here are the pics of my seedling opening! It's so exciting to finally see your seeds bloom. Just last month I was ready to chuck the lot out the door when I found - yes - inside in January - a narcissus bulb fly. They really take the joy out of this hobby, but finally seeing my seedlings start to bloom does kind of bring the excitement back.
