They all look great! A bit small but they look healthy.

I'm wondering if the rain will ever stop here. My hostas are drowning and being eaten by slugs BUT the winter sown balloon flowers that you gave me are growing nicely. I have them in a holding area and will plant them later in the fall.

I have a little something to help you with Gary the groundhog, if you want to use it let me know.

Lisa, oh Lisa, darling where are you? sent you an e-mail. what nice present do you have for the groundhog. the neighborhood is infested with them this year.

I'm worried about fungus on my toms again this year. At the rate the weather is going though, there may be more to worry about than that. Like nothing is going to grow cause the rain won't stop and temps won't warm up.

Geez, they say by friday in the mid 80's humid and finally some sun. the plants won't get a chance to dry out before the humidity hits them.

Still got tons of stuff to get in the ground.

Things are looking good, Fran, despite your cold rainy weather. My dahlias are getting bigger, but nowhere near the size of yours that have grown from last year's tubers. I'll definitely have to see what I get from the tubers next year. I'm not sure about my new garden, I think it's in zone 7, I wonder if I'll be able to overwinter them outside?

have to pot up the dahlias from the seeds yet, just waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting for the rain to end.

Don't panic, the seedlings from seed are still real small, but give them a bit of time and they will catch up real quick.

I think you may be able to winter them over in your "new" zone, but not sure. On the other hand if you get all that snow again, they might not make it.
