Heuchera seedlings doing well, but I have a question...

I have dozens of Heuchera seedlings that are still tiny - I planted them out about two weeks ago (WS in early Jan 2010).

I think they are healthy, but are growing so slow... is this normal? Also, the seed packets were marked as light green veined and dark green veined, but I seem to have some "caramel" and "reddish/brown" tiny babies. Do they keep the colors they have as babies or will that change?

Some have 6 leaves and some still have only 4 - so obviously they are not of a decent size yet and are planted in a out of the way spot right now. They are also planted way closer (3"-4" apart) than I would like them to be as adults. Do you think I will have trouble separating them later? I honestly didn't know if they were all going to make it when I planted them out because they were so very tiny with only 2 leaves, but they were fairly thick in the jug and I didn't want to wait too long.

I am thrilled with the success with these WS babies, but was surprised at the variation in colors!
