I had a few Tango that produced 5 scapes last year, the most Ive got this year though is 3. Most of my others seem to produce between 2 or 3.

It is not too common. The last one that brought 4 scapes for me at the same time was Merenque from Royal Colors. It looked like a small brown tree... Four scapes with brown, spiky flowers, about 5-6 on each scape... I literarily just lost count. Even my motherbulbs didn't bring four scapes. Maybe this year, I am tending them.
Green Goddess brought four scapes for me this year, though the fourth one was months later out in the flower bed. I wouldn't mind if all brought four scapes. :) Though I have to tell the truth, if they are all the same hight and start blooming at the same time, the individual flowers push each other and you can only appreciate the amount instead of the quality... So I root for my bulbs to bring up the scapes different hight.

I agree with Soultan. The gracefulness of each individual flower is lost when the are so many scapes that bloom at the same time with the same scape height because the flowers would be pushing each other and some get distorted. I would love to have four scapes from my amaryllis too but maybe one at a time blooming or in different heights.

I prefer when one follows another, also...

Either follow each other, or if they bloom at the same time, then they should be different hight... But that is only my preference.

Last summer, while all of the others were growing lush and beautiful, Lemon Lime just limped along and resisted all efforts to jump-start it. To boot, when it came time to bring them in, a night of unexpectedly low temperatures frosted them (none were much damaged and all bloomed fine in the end, just to set you all at ease right away...), and the LL foliage took it particularly badly, quickly getting yellow-mushy and falling off. Still, just before Christmas, LL put up its first scape, quickly followed by a second. A third poked out just as #2 was finishing, and about a month after #3 was done, a fourth appeared. All of this from a bulb that had shrunk to about the size of a large plum. The last one only had 2 flowers, but it just goes to prove, when all is said and done, how hard it is to fail with these tough, forgiving plants. This summer, LL is growing like mad, and has a couple of offsets. Go figure. Probably means no flowers for me this winter...

Who knows. My plum sized bulbs are flowering now.
