Small ornamental tree for tough spot

I am looking for a small ornamental tree to go in a spot near the front of my house.

It will be planted in a North- Northeast exposure, so no sun until 3 p.m. or so and then all afternoon in the summer and virtually no sun in the winter time.

The spot has nice soil, acidic, about 6 azaleas that are very happy there (for about 20 years). Also doing well -- Golden Mop Cypress, Purple Palace Heuchera, Caryopteris 'Snow Fairy', hellebores and hardy geraniums.

I am just outside DC in zone 6b, but this is a sheltered spot -- maybe 7.

Now for the tree:

This will have a prominent place in front of a white brick house, so I would like to have three season interest (four is better) and it must have fall color. It will sort of rise above the remaining azaleas, so I will be limbing it up for the first 5 feet or so. I would like to not be much taller than 15', 20' max.

So far on my list:

Some kind of Crabapple (maybe the new Roundtable series?)

Thornless Hawthorn (Crusader, maybe?)

Pinky Winky Hydrangea Paniculata standard

Silverbell

Serviceberry 'Autumn Brilliance'

Amur Maple

Any advice or suggestions appreciated!
