Rose leaves turning brown but not drying or dying..

At least so far. We planted them in the ground out of containers the have been in for a year about a month ago.. Here in texas... Husband watered them and then we noticed them start to turn brown. It did freeze which was a surprise to us. I attached a pic of the leaves of my apricot drift rose. Also happened to my souv de la malmaison and dublin bay, on the other hand my tree rose is perfectly fine and looks better than ever.
