Freeze Watch tonight, quick question.

My Hornbeam trees are 95% green; my Golden Raintrees are 100% green. What will happen to all of their leaves if there's a freeze? Will there be no color change to look forward to because the leaves will turn brown and die?

Are buds for next year in danger from a freeze? Considering we are heading into winter where there will be a lot colder temps I don't see how a freeze would hurt them, but thought I'd ask anyway.

Thanks!
