the two in the buckets are the kids's school projects, some are actually growing!! after the bottoms sealed and they got too much water in them!! its amazing!! LOL

on the right of the picknick table there are 7 more flats of 18 deep cell that are just soo filled!! so yep i have been soooo busy!! and today we went topless!! WOOO HOOO!!!! it felt great!! but very tiring!! LOL i was kinda scared to in a way to see what all was "not" growing, LOL but in most i was at least growing "something"!!! LOL Medo

just to the left of the picnic table you can barely see tabors beginnings of his medievil garden, and next week we start on the beginning of talla's fairy garden, LOL

Oh, I am so sorry, you have my sympathy. It must have been the week for water damage. After a summer of 100 plus degree temps and no rain, Monday night a wind storm took off the roof of our office building, and then the rain came. Tuesday on my way to a dr appt I get a call that the office has been flooded. This is our second floor in a month, mind you. The property restoration people showed up not long after I got there, with their fans and dehumidifers. It looked like a mess, but that we would survive. It rained Tuesday night. Office flooded again. More carpet sucking, then carpet removal, more dehumidifiers and fans, Thursday it rained again, TWICE. By now it was way past funny and on the threshold of disaster. Fortunately the computers and files were fine, just everything else was soggy and/or destroyed. Clients of ours gave us some temp space until they can rehab our entire office. It rained again last night, I ran up to check today. They had supposedly temporarily fixed the leak, but I didn't trust it, but lo and behold, the floor was dry and a massive blower with super hot air was blowing through the office. Monday we have to tackle inventorying what was destroyed and trying to decide how to store what didn't die.

That same exact thing happened this summer. I have had a salmon tet noid for several years, always seemed to bloom down in the leaves, blotchy...but this year it was a stellar performer, multiple blooms everyday for over a month. I think the rain and cooler temps affected them differently this year. I'm still getting rid of it, can't always count on those rainy cool summers. Maybe I'll send it to Seattle. Nina

It's a brand new non-stick pan that the cake sticks to Rococogurl, I was about to throw my hands up in the air, until I read the above. And you're gonna hate me for saying this, but get rid of that new, non-stick pan! Well, don't toss the pan, instead, use non-stick pans for pound cakes, and other butter cakes, but NOT Angel Food cakes. Angel Food cakes need a non-stick surface to give the batter something to cling onto, in order to rise. I use an old, heavy gauge aluminum pan. I pour the batter right in it, no prep. It always rises to its fullest, but never collapses. I've even baked AF cakes in sheet pans, sin problemas. Invert your cake (don't worry, the cake won't fall out). After the cake is allowed to cool for about 1-1 hours, use a spatula -instead of a knife- to loosen the cake from the sides of the pan. Don't jab the spatula into the sides. You'll damage the cake and scratch the pan. Just insert the spatula about half-way into the side of the pan, and go all the way around, gently pulling cake away from the pan. Don't forget to do the same to the core before you try releasing the cake. Please try these simple techniques, and you'll have a cake that'll make angels sing. Sol

Wow! I love it! What brand, and color of stain did you use? I am working on an antique table and have the grime and old finish off of it. I went to Lowe's and HD yesterday for GF gel stain and finish coat just to find out that neither store carries it. I am so frustrated. I really wanted to at least stain it this weekend. I was looking at using the GF candlelite finish but that may be too light. I really like the java stain also but IMO it will be darker than I want. Your table looks to be about the shade I was hoping for.

It looks fairly organized to me. Wow, look at all the empty spaces just waiting to be made into new flower beds with all your ws sprouts. Lots of fun and work ahead.

I just went ahead and threw together a 1/4 of a pound of misc flower seed, mixed with perlite and reseeded the wildflower bank, so my big mess is tiny spots of white on a bank, lol.

now of course i'm driving my hubby crazy with all this "mess" of mine!! LOL but i tell him it will produce us lots of food and you won't have to spend so much money at the store!! :')) so that's the part he's waiting for!! LOL i know i have mostly vege's!! so that's good, some of the flowers have come up, but not much, yet, i'm not gonna throw any of the stuff out till way late!!!! LOL i'm VERY patient!! LOL ENJOY!!!
