How are things up in zone 4? Its already 60 down here in zone 5, but expecting it to not be so nice by tomorrow. I hear you guys may even get snow. This state is so weird.

Salpal, It is new this year, I got it in our local grocery store as a prepotted bulb.

Sweet Lillian is rocking my face off! Wow!!!! I love her.

Sweet Lilian was one of the first bulbs I had bloom when I began collecting... and, man, was I impressed! I love that variety! Gilmar is one I don't have, but look at that red! Wow!

Regarding your mislabeled Grandeur, IMHO you can rule out Jungle Star.

Hello, I have the same doubt with my Grandeur, the problem is that this one have so many diferent tipes that is dificult to tell.
Where do you buy yours? mine is from Edenblooms, may be someone can tell us what it is, IF it is not Grandeur.

Jaun, those are wonderful!

My Grandeur had the green petals at the bottom. That seemed to define it for me. I am not so sure that any without these green petals could really call it Grandeur. {{gwi:373647}}

Hello Prime, No I didn't recall them selling Rio Negro on Ebay nor in the site, so they may have this one wrong for origin, I think we should send them a mail with the pic of it showing the error, and wait to see what they suggest, the optimum would be a replace, but I really don't think they would do that.

Hi there Prime, Thanks for the gorgeous pictures, and also thanks to all who shared theirs. I purchased what was supposed to be a Snow White from Parks (here we go again). When it came out it was red. I now realize that it IS Red Lion, so glad it's now ID'd. I'm really upset that it was not SW, though. Last year I purchased Grandeur from RC, but even though it was a large bulb, it never bloomed. Hopefully, it will this year.
