Ok, this sounds crazy but I had something similar happen in my greenhouse this spring to a bunch of my brugs when it rained for 3 days then got really hot the next day and I forgot to open the windows. It just rained for 3 days in a row and this one was sitting on the concrete next to a large cast iron pot. Is it possible steam came off the pot and burned the plant or maybe it was too close to the metal pot and it got cooked? It seems the damaged area is right near the top edge height of the pot. I had to ask hubby exactly where he had it since I knew it wasn't in that flower bed where he told me to come see what was wrong with it, lol.

Erik, I can't give you good pictures or drawings, but from what I've read, a group of aphids usually includes different shapes and sizes. There may also be winged and wingless together in the same group. They give birth to live young, so it makes sense that various sizes are found together. In other words, aphids are confusing, and there are enough different types that no one is interested in providing exhaustive photos/drawings of each particular kind. 8-(

Cupping is caused by a difference between one side of a board and the other. Sometimes floors cup due to acclimation issues and stay cupped. The only possible real longevity would result from wear on the higher portion of each board. A floor that cups could be a sign of water intrusion or other moisture related issues. Buckling is caused by overall board expansion causing enough pressure to lift the floor from it's adhesive or fasteners. It sounds like your issue is normal and minor. I don't think you need to worry.

So I've completed the rough construction And I'm in the process of installing insulation and ventilation. The insulation is a rigid foam R-13 with foil lining. I will literally cover every non glazing part of the inside structure with this eventually and seal all seams with caulk and foil tape. The idea is to have vents that will seal easily in the winter with foam cutouts. Am I making any mistakes by not automating the intake vents? Would a passive flap lifted by the exhaust fan be inefficient ? Will leaving the roof vent unsealed during winter be a problem? I was thinking I could automate only one third of the louvre vents during the winter and that 200sqin would create a passive convection with the uncovered roof vent to keep the power fan from kicking on most days.
