I visited my son in Seattle and took in a few gardens this year. I saw this Peaudouce (Elina) bloom that needed a bathtub for a vase it was so huge.

I had this fleeting feeling: Why bother!

While when we were showing horses we always took in the Royal at Kansas City, MO. Never won anything, but it was fun to show. I agreed starting this hobby with the Mrs. that I wasn't going to go crazy this time. We have not taken in the Nationals.

Did any of you make it to St Louis? Do they have special vases for these monsters? How would one judge such a class?
