2010, now that's weird sounding

I am going to be soon leaving my roses and garden and moving to another state in a completely different climate and growing zone. I am so sad to leave my garden but am thinking about the hybrid perpetuals and albas I might be able to grow in the PNW where we are moving. A place where hybrid musks will flourish and teas will survive.

My 2010 will not be as I'd envisioned it during the dregs of this past summer when I began thinking of my garden this spring, relishing the thought of my tea roses on the cusp of maturity.

But life is an adventure and nothing stays as it was. So here's to a year of change, growth, and learning during this next year for all of you as well. May our lives, families and gardens prosper this coming year.
