We almost always take roses to Thanksgiving dinner.
I expect to have some Golden Celebrations, and some Tea Roses, and other odds 'n ends.
I can see through the rain that Rosette Delizy is in bloom, for one. But Fortuniana also has a scattering of fragrant white blooms.
Though it is still blooming, Lavender Dream also has big sprays of small brilliant heps. I like to add some of those to bouquets, as well.

Yes, I cut roses for the Thanksgiving table. It is raining today so I do not know what is blooming. My guess would be Mons. Tillier, Iceburg, Gemini and Whisper.

This will be the last of my fall flush. We are chillin down here in California...

I have April in Paris, Regensberg's floribunda, Sheila's perfume, pink Gruss an Aachen, Heritage, WS2000, Joseph's Coat, Yves Piaget, Trumpeter, Abe Darby, Bishop's Castle. Just a few blooms on each, but enough for a bouquet...

Mnay years, I've had roses for Thanksgiving. Not this year, though, as the cold air mass has come down early and stayed.
In other years when temperatures haven't reaching below freezing, by December the lack of sunshine and shortened day lengths tended to slow bloom production.
This year, the cold has probably gotten all but the most micro-climate protected blooms in much of the southeast.
Some years are better than others. At least the annual weeds are wiped out so the winter weeds can start to grow and protect basal breaks that are too eager to come up.

The roses still blooming - Brandy, Oregold, Gemini, Golden Showers, Perfect Moment, Strike It Rich, Whisper and Compasion. Just enough for a nice bouquet!

What are the gold ones called? and which is the large, dusky red rose facing us near four o'clock?

The largest gold blooms are Golden Celebration, at about 5 o'clock, and 9 o'clock.
At 3 o'clock, Duchesse d'Auerstadt.
The "red" rose at about 4 o'clock is "Mons. Tillier," also seen at about 7 o'clock.
And the softer yellow peeking over the top is 'Lady Hillingdon."

Lovely rose pics, thanks for posting them.

Here, after some freezing temps, I found a few blossoms to mix with some brown hydrangea blossoms, golden tarragon blooms and holly sprigs. Very fall-ish.

The roses that actually wound up on the table for Thanksgiving were: Pink Gruss an Aachen, Rise-N-Shine, Heritage, Valentine, and a huge bouquet of Mrs Dudley Cross.
