Momma I had one that was very communicative. I went to my first daylily farm last Tuesday and Tigger screamed my name all over that place. Every time I turned around there he was just screaming at me "pick me, pick me". I could be rows away and spot him. He just stuck out no matter where I went. So I had to buy him, he demanded it. Oh and yesterday I went to another and Bela Lugosi did the same thing to me. So I brought her home as well. But, I do understand what you mean about the watering. I know my new plants are stressed and will lose some leaves. I water mine nightly for the first few days after transplant then every other day. Guess if I start to see new leaves then it is all good. If you're having early frosts, with warmer weather probably returning (as it is for us here in Monmouth County), try protecting your crops. A non-woven frost barrier is best (I have one that protects down to 27F), and will serve also to provide temporary shade to new transplants or a barrier against some pest insects, and is reusable. I've not seen them in any local garden centers, so had to order online. Last year saw several rolls in, of all places, a Tuesday Morning ... for $3.00/roll!!! I should have grabbed them all. Lacking the frost barrier, a sheet, lightweight blanket, or even light tarp will suffice. It's hard enough to call it quits at the end of the season, harder still if you know there may wall be another 2-4 weeks of good weather on the way. If you haven't already done so, now is the time to remove any flowers, as they'll never develop into fruit, so best let the plant put all its resources into those fruits already set and with a chance to make it to maturity before the frost gets them.

The roof as an integral part of the habitable building - not placed on like a hat on top of a cubic form as with typical roof truss construction. A roof should be more than a lid. Rather it should wrap the house and appeal to our innate need for safe shelter. The edges of roofs should overlap the building. The roof should be "lived" in, i.e. part of the roof should be walls / ceiling of some rooms. 3) 159. Light on two sides of every room This pattern, perhaps more than any other single pattern, determines the success or failure of a room. The arrangement of daylight in a room, and the presence of windows on two sides, is fundamental. If you build a room with light on one side only, you can be almost certain that you are wasting your money. People will stay out of that room if they can possibly avoid it. Of course, if all the rooms are lit from one side only, people will have to use them. But we can be fairly sure that,they are subtly uncomfortable there, always wishing they weren't there, wanting to leave - just because we are so sure of what people do when they do have the choice. OMG, I just checked out the home disaster thread and some of the titles are hilarious. I feel another thread addiction coming on! Ha! Theresse - I can't believe you're having to go through that, you're basically damned no matter what you do. Neighbors are a key element to a happy environment. I've literally gone to the expense to move just to get away from people I could no longer stand to live next to so I completely empathize with your situation. Sometimes there is just no other way to solve the problem but to move. Venting to people who can at least relate is helpful though, so check out the conversations side of this forum and vent away!
