Crape myrtles and black walnut toxicity

I was wondering if anyone has had any luck planting a crape myrtle near a black walnut. I'm hope to plant one about 15 or 20 feet out from the drip line of a black walnut near the back border of my property. Many websites list plants that can tolerate black walnut toxicity and those that cannot tolerate it; however, I've been able to find very little info about how crape myrtles do. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.
