Rose Replant Disease

User

while i am among experts, may as well get my queries in.A new island bed i am planting had HT roses which failed because the soil became rose-sick. This was 7 years ago and the bed has been repalnted with hebes and phormium (a dog's dinner, actually) but we are now hoping to replant with just 3 Austin roses, lots of perennials and plenty of mycchorizal (Spelling??)fungus and fresh john innes compost. Am i going to get away with it?cheers, suzy
