Awesome!! Thankyou so much!! I figured that was the seed pod but I wasnt sure about that one. Now if I could only figure out the Ceratostigma plumbaginoides. Not many true blue perenials out there if nothing else I guess I can always split it.

I found some fruit from a passiflora suberosa. Not sure how many will contain seeds but I should have enough for a few people, at least, and the germination rate if these are planted fresh is very high. It's not a showy variety but it is interesting looking. It grows wild down here. I also found Rosary Pea vine seeds. It's a nice looking vine but can be invasive in frost free areas. The flowers are a light purple but it's the seeds that really catch the eye. They are bright red with a black spot. They are also extremely poisonous so if you have children that don't know any better I wouldn't plant them.

I think once the pods turn brown, the seeds are ripened. The seeds are supposed to be pale (white/light yellow) that's how you know it's fresh seed. Even the seed in commercial packets are white. I'm hoping the frost won't get my vine before the rest of the pods ripen, because they do take a very long time in doing so. I hope this helps! Monica

Hi Karyn, That is the address I've sent them to and I'm going to try again. They have built more hotels since the summer before last but at least they are nice hotels. All the extra rooms near the Falls are destroying dozens of small operators just down the road. You'd think with 8 million tourists a year there would be enough to go around. I've lived here my whole life and still think it's a beautiful place but the growth of the tacky businesses in the tourist area can get tiresome. Off to e-mail. Tyler.
