Jasmine Polyanthum (Pink Jasmine) Hardy in Zone 7?
Comments (5)well, that s--ks! haha! Glad something made me to double check! so does anyone know anything about lopping it off before wintering in a warmer location? I got it so it could climb a barren double-rail wood fence between properties... if i took it out this year and then replanted it next spring would it actually grow to an ok size where it might climb and flower, or does this plant really need to establish for more time?...See MoreLantana Bandana Rose - Perennial in MD, zone 7??
Comments (1)Lantana camara 'Miss Huff' and L. horrida have survived multiple winters here with a good mulch of shredded leaves. Well-drained soil and mulch are critical. I'll have cuttings of both at the plant swap I'm hosting on Sunday October 5th. More info on the swap on the exchanges forum. Click on my name to email me for directions. Comments (2)Nick I have an apple banana but no pups yet. There are a few small bananas out there. Truely tiny is supposed to be really small. Musa Basjoo is supposed to be really cold hardy. Also you can probably just put some old school christmas lights on them during the winter. I've heard of people doing that....See MorePossbily Chicago Hardy fig, zone 7- how to winterize? let die back?

When full of sap it is very tender and the trunks are easily damaged. Being next to the wall it has good protection though. If you are feeling brave: tie it up, bend it over to the ground and cover once dormant, the trunks are flexible enough, be careful and go slow, you can bend it in stages. The leaves look more like Celeste, and also the lack of fruit!...See Morechrmann
