Plant Swap -- Here's What I Got . . .

hartwood

I had intended to host the plant swap social as a way to get rid of some of the roses and plants that I didn't want in my garden anymore -- and to share things (like figs) that I enjoy. My Wild Blue Yonder, Cherries 'n Cream, and Vineyard Song all went to nice new homes.

I got:

White Cap

John Hopper

Nur Mahal

American Pillar and Ghislane de Feligonde for my rambler collection.

and cuttings of:

Renee Danielle and Breeze Hill (ooh, more climbers!)

Blossomtime

Petite Pink Scotch

and something else I don't remember (whoops)

Robert also delivered to me the roses he got on his trip to Roses Unlimited two weeks ago:

Evangeline

Sweet Surrender

Secret Garden Musk Climber

Mme. Alice Garnier

Goldfinch

Paul Lede

Russell's Cottage Rose

Old Gray Cemetery

Lady of the Dawn

In addition to being a beautiful day and a wonderful party, all the new roses made it almost feel like Christmas. Anyone have any observations, advice, or warnings about any of these?

Connie
