The use of copperas on roses

Don't know if this subject has been brought up before, but I need some advice. I have several roses that look a little chlorotic, Marie Pavie, Celine F., Perle de Jardines, etc. I purchased Hi-yield copperas (11% combined sulfur, 19% water soluble iron) and I am thinking about working a little of it into the soil around these roses....good or bad idea?
