When should I prune my (wonderful) Easy Does It?

I wish I had a BIG yard like you private home owners, but my co-op home forces me to limit what I plant, due to space limitations. I planted one Easy Does It rose this past spring to replace my BS-prone mini roses. I am in love with this rose! It has bloomed like crazy, utterly gorgeous colors that have my neighbors showering the flowers with compliments, and NO BLACKSPOT. When it was just a little transplanted stick, there was a brief bout of blackspot, but it went away by itself. The couple of minis I had left in place were covered in BS and so got shovel-pruned. Replaced those with portulaca which wonderfully complements the colors of the EDI. So my question as a rose newbie is: When should I prune my EDI? It's still in the 80s here in NYC, and the EDI is still sending up new buds like crazy.
