roses from edmunds ? ?
Comments (19)They certainly aren't the "old" Edmunds. But, they are trying! I ordered 3 roses last yr. They arrived I believe in January, which is normally a good time for me. All three roses died. One broke dormancy and then died, but the other two never did sprout anything... just dried up. I emailed them and they told me one of the roses was sold out, but that they would replace the other two. In March, I received TWO each of the two they could replace. All 4 roses grew and did really well. They also had sent me a gift certificate for the other rose that couldn't be relaced then, but I can't find it, so didn't use it for this yr's order. But that's ok. They made the others right, double! I'm happy....See MoreEdmund's Roses online store?
Comments (8)I bought raspberry twirl and rainbow's end bare root fom Edmund's this year. (among an order of about 10 roses). Raspberry twirl grew and is now healthy. It made 1 flower but squirrels ate it as a bud and I never saw it open. The squirrels have since pruned it again. It's potted, I'm trying to figure out a place for it to climb. Need to plant in the ground soon before winter. The plant is healthy but haven't seen a flower since. Incidentally, Rainbow's end failed to grow. I reported it and got $10 store credit. I bought it on clearance. I already have 2 Rainbow's End roses from last year bought for $3.99 each at Menards. Both are prolific at flowering and survived the winter (1 indoors, one outside without protection.)...See MoreEdmund's Roses
Comments (27)Feel free to ignore any and all zone hardiness ratings. It's only a guess. You should go by what other people in your area have that are hardy. I'm in Madison WI and I've only had a few roses that weren't hardy - unfortunately Melody Parfume was one of them (it was lovely). Edmunds generally only labels the Bill Radler roses and some of the climbers. Zaphod - Edmunds is owned by Jungs, so if you see something you're curious about it will usually show up in any of the Jungs outlets as a potted plant in the spring. That was how I ended up with Over the Moon - I saw it when I was looking for another rose and had to get it....See MoreEdmund's Roses has their new 2023 rose listing up
Comments (42)I got some I already have: Florentina is new- Going in the new Red & Cream garden area. Love Song- is a replacement for one that hated me. I blame Diane for making me want another one with all her luscious lavender & purple rose photos lol. Peach Swirl..I have several of these because I love them and so do the treefrogs! I dont know why they are so obsessed with striped roses but they are! EarthAngel - because I used the two that I had over by the side of the barn and I need another one for the new bed, that I am just starting out front. She is one of the few globular shaped roses that I have, besides jude lol. I really need more!...See MoreRelated Professionals
