I found this one while looking up Amazing Grace. Has anyone used them? They had a Grand Opening Sale last month and seem to be sold out of a lot of nice roses. Prices are 14.95.

Chuck I found it on HMF. I'm afraid I don't have any experience with them.

LOVE Forest Farm! I won't order from anyone else uness they didn't sell something I wanted. I ordered all, but one, of my trees from them, about 19, arrived zero root bound. They were SO easy to plant. Plus the trees' roots were insane. As I stretched out the roots when we were planting, my husband had to keep digging the holes wider and wider to accommodate the size of the roots. Some of the roots were 3 ft long. It was crazy. He made the holes wide enough so that each of the roots could stretch out completely. NONE of the trees ended up getting transplant shock either. They've grown so much their first season with me. I'm ecstatic.

I'm always suspect when there doesn't appear to be any recent activity or messages on their website. I'll usually send an email first asking a couple of questions (before placing an order) just to see if anyone answers, and how quickly they answer. It's usually a good precursor to the kind of customer service you'll receive AFTER placing your order. Speaking of which, has anyone been able to reach Two Sisters? I've been trying for a couple of weeks & none of my calls or emails have been returned. ---Laura

I too am dealing with this company. I emailed twice and finally got a response that they were having computer and phone issues. After waiting another two weeks (by now my order was placed a month ago), I got a quick email saying my order was going to be shipped.. cut to another two weeks and a last email of mine asking for a refund. Of course my rose was magically shipped the next day with tracking info. I've learned my lesson. There are too many other reputable rose sellers. Unfortunately they were the only one that had a particular rose I was looking for. We'll see what the quality of the rose is when I get it. I was very disappointed in the service, response etc. Lesson learned.

Mark Lindsey. He is selling own root roses. Most of his mother plants came from Heirloom Roses, and his plants are about the same size when shipped as Heirlooms. Located in Oregon also.

Coincidental that its in Oregon and gets its stock from Heirloom? I wonder if Heirloom is scaling back or, even worse, getting out of the business........I like the play on words for Mr. Lindseys nursery though. Clever fellow. I'm just tickled pink that we are talking about a new rose nursery opening up not another one biting the dust (but then back to my original musing).

I can tell you that I ordered roses from Mark of Excellence on 3/25/10 and received nothing. I have left 2 voice mails and sent 3 emails with no response. I know there's somebody there because my card was charged. These people are outright thieves. Perhaps a better name would be Mark of Beast Roses.
