Any raised bed advice or pictures?

At the end of our driveway, we have a massive burning bush. While it looks fantastic in Fall, it blocks the view to get out of the driveway as it is about 10-12 feet tall. Also, it takes up a full sun spot which is unconscionable. I have been "campaigning" to remove this to make a little bed and last week during a storm, we lost a Dogwood which must come out. So we will have the bush taken out too.

The Tree company says they can make me a raised bed with about 15 inches of compost. I don't know anything about compost so how do I know if it is good for growing roses? The guy said it was 2 year old compost and can grow anything tomatoes, roses, etc. But saying it does not make it so. How do I know if it is good enough?

Also, I wondered if anyone has pictures of their raised beds; I would like to see the edging. What do you think I can fit in a 12 foot bed? Three Austins or how many HTs and Floribundas?

Thanks, sorry so long...
